Andrew J. Pease to Lead QuickLogic’s Global Sales Force

QuickLogic Corporation (NASDAQ: QUIK), the lowest power programmable logic leader, today announced that Andrew J. Pease has joined the company as vice president of world wide sales. With an impressive track record spanning over 20 years, Pease will be responsible for executing QuickLogic’s lowest power programmable logic solutions strategies and leading all of the company’s sales activities.

Pease comes to QuickLogic from Broadcom Corporation, a global leader in semiconductors for wired and wireless communications, where he was senior vice president of world wide sales for three years. During his tenure there he drove 37% annual revenue growth and significant customer base expansion. Prior to that, he held the same title at Syntricity Incorporated, Vantis Corporation and Integrated Systems Incorporated. He has also held various sales and operations roles at Advanced Micro Devices and Data Trak. Pease holds a master’s degree in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey and a Bachelor’s degree in Operational Analysis from the U.S. Naval Academy.

“Andy’s strong background and experience in semiconductor sales and sales leadership will be key to both shaping and achieving QuickLogic’s vision of becoming the market leader in providing the lowest-power programmable logic solutions,” said Tom Hart, Chairman, President and CEO. “Andy’s leadership talents and his long list of achievements will serve as an excellent foundation on which we expect to build a market leadership position as QuickLogic continues to expand its penetration into hand-held, battery powered “prosumer” products such as Smartphones, Portable Media Players (PMPs), Personal Navigational Devices (PND) and Portable Industrial devices, where fast time to market with reduced risk, energy efficiency and small footprint are becoming critical for their success.”
