The company's embedded FPGA initiative also enables SoC designers to easily implement post production changes, and increase revenue by providing hardware programmability to their end customers.
Application Engineer
Overview:
The Application Engineer will be a key member of the eFPGA Application Engineering Team, reporting to the Director of Application Engineering. This is a technical role within the company with primary responsibility for supporting external customers, writing documentation, and collaborating with internal R&D team activities. Strong technical knowledge and presence, with the ability to interact with external customers as well as internal groups and individuals, with varied skillsets and experience is required for success in this position.
Key Activities/Tasks for this position are:
- Demo of eFPGA Software Tool (Aurora) and eFPGA IP flow to Customer.
- Support customers with integration of eFPGA IP into SoC integration.
- Support Sales team with customer evaluation and gather requirements.
- Debug issues related to integration of eFPGA IP into SOC.
- Provide 1 st level support for eFPGA Software Tool (Aurora).
- Develop User guides, Application notes and white papers.
- Support R&D team with Performance benchmarking and Competitive analysis.
- Provide feedback to R& team on improvements based on customers feedback and usage
Skills & Knowledge Profile:
- BS Electronics Engineering with 2+ years of experience or equivalent in Digital
- Design/Verification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Working knowledge with Verilog HDL, Synthesis, Simulation, Verification.
- Good scripting skills (Python/Make/Tcl)
- Prior User-level experience of commercial FPGA tools is a plus.
- Understanding of SOC and FPGA architecture is a plus.
- Prior customer support experience is a plus.
