Press Coverage on the S2 LP

Following up on yesterday’s announcement of the ArcticLink 3 S2 LP sensor hub for wearables and smartphones, here are some links to related third party press.

EE Times “Wearables are already on a slim power budget, but QuickLogic Corp. aims to alleviate some of the designer’s grief with a sensor hub with reduced power consumption and field programmable (FPGA-like) reconfigurability.”

Electronics Weekly “At 75µW (68µA @ 1.1V) active power consumption, it claims to be the lowest power programmable sensor hub on the market”

And finally, to answer the question I’ve been asked a few times, the S2 LP does not, at all, change the importance or timing of the upcoming S3.  We’ll have more information on that in our next earnings call.
