Regional Sales Manager USA

Summary:

This is a key role with primary responsibility for driving increased revenue through direct sales, Strategic account and channel management, reporting to the VP of Sales.

This role is responsible for the overall fiscal success of the USA region, including net revenue and expense management, with a particular focus on scalable, new product revenue growth from our eFPGA Intellectual Property, AI and SensiML software solutions.

Essential Functions:
  • Provide strategic sales leadership to ensure that the Region exceeds revenue growth targets and increases market share in embedded, Mil/Aero and Internet-of-Things (IoT) markets.
  • Implement sales plan for the region to meet forecast, revenue and profitability objectives. Produce expected profit results by balancing revenue generation and expense management.
  • Develop, lead and manage the region Channel Strategy for QuickLogic Partners, Sales >Representatives and Distributors
  • Cultivate and maintain cross-company executive and senior level management relationships between QuickLogic and OEMs.
  • Working closely with Marketing to identify and develop new and future market opportunities that support growth and revenue generation.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Marketing to help develop strategies for success.
Education, Competence and Experience:
  • 3+ years in semiconductor sales leadership roles and a min BS in Engineering or related discipline
  • Knowledge of FPGA & ASIC products, markets & Vendors
  • Management experience, including ability to manage multiple projects and achieve sales quotas.
  • Proven track record in penetrating new accounts and building winning relationships with
  • semiconductor-based and ideally I/P based solutions in Embedded Systems and/or ASIC SOC’s.
  • Outstanding communicator with background in evangelizing value-added solutions, convey value
  • propositions and technical issues to both external and internal customers in a clear and persuasive fashion
  • Successful track record of selling complete solutions, including microcontroller-based, FPGA-based, ASIC-based, Intellectual Property, as well as associated software.
Other Required Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word) proficiency.
  • Extensive domestic travel required.
  • Outstanding persuasion, presentation and negotiation skills.

Sr. Staff Engineer - EDA

Overview:

The Senior Staff Engineer – EDA will be a key technical leadership role within QuickLogic providing technical leadership for the EDA tools team. The role holder will lead the development of EDA tools based on Open-Source components.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Contribute towards development of QuickLogic’s FPGA EDA tools based on open source components.
  • Provide technical leadership in resolving wide range of issues in a creative way, exercise
  • judgment in selecting methods and techniques to arrive at solutions.
  • Drive the full lifecycle software development including design, development, testing and documentation of EDA tools for programmable devices
  • Collaborate with the Open-source community to drive the development of new features
  • required for QuickLogic’s customers.
  • Work with Silicon team to define the next generation programmable device architecture to meet area, performance, and power metrics.
  • Define the software architecture for next generation programmable logic EDA tool
  • Collaborate with open-source community to develop algorithms for synthesis, technology mapping, placement & routing and static timing analysis (STA) for programmable logic device.
Education/Knowledge & Skills Profile:
  • MS/PhD in CS/Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 8-10 years of experience in EDA tools development
  • Prior experience in EDA software tools development, specifically in one or preferably
  • more of the following areas:
  • o STA, Routing and/or Placement
  • Good knowledge of FPGA hardware architecture and Digital logic design
  • Strong algorithmic experience & good understanding of graph theory and data structures
  • Strong C/C++ development experience (preferably in Linux environment)
  • Good experience of using Python or TCL scripting languages
